Annie Lennox
| Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 70s. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend to students as well as part-time employment. Lennox made the decision to alter her profession when she was dissatisfied with her inexperience in the same way as others Royal Academy students. Lennox began her career as an instrument player within the band Dragons Playground. She quit the band prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. From 1977 until 1980 she was lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British Pop band. The band was where she met Dave Stewart and together they created the duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox began to work on her solo first album Diva and it was released in the year 1992. It received lots of praise, both from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album debuted in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite jazz, blues and soul songs. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox released Lepidoptera an album of four piano pieces that she improvised. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album along with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'm letting You Go." At the end of the 70s, she achieved minor fame as part the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics.
